What the evidence says
Haddock is a safe white fish throughout pregnancy. Smoked haddock is generally safe when cooked thoroughly (e.g. in fish pie, kedgeree, or poached).
Why this matters
Haddock is a low-mercury white fish. Cooking smoked fish removes any residual Listeria risk.
