Fertility & Preconception Nutrition
Evidence-based dietary support for couples trying to conceive, preparing for IVF, or navigating fertility treatment. Guidance on the best foods for fertility, egg and sperm quality, and the supplements that actually matter. Clinical expertise with lived understanding.
Nutrition has a measurable role in fertility. Few people are told how.
A growing body of research connects diet to ovulation, egg and sperm quality, implantation, and outcomes through IVF. Specific nutrients matter. Specific patterns matter. Yet most people going through fertility treatment receive almost no nutritional guidance from the clinics supporting them.
I trained clinically in the NHS. I've also been through IVF myself. I know how it feels to sit across from yet another professional and wonder whether they understand what this journey actually takes. This is the work I came to nutrition to do.
What I support
Preconception nutrition
For individuals and couples in the three to twelve months before trying to conceive. Optimising egg and sperm quality, correcting deficiencies, building the nutritional foundation for a healthy pregnancy.
IVF preparation & support
Nutrition strategies through stimulation, egg collection, transfer, and the two-week wait. Realistic plans for weeks that are already emotionally exhausting — built for energy, not restriction.
PCOS & fertility
PCOS is the most common hormonal cause of infertility. Targeted dietary strategies for insulin resistance, ovulatory function, and weight where relevant, grounded in current clinical evidence.
Egg quality and nutrition
The three months before trying matter. Evidence-based nutrition strategies to support egg quality — the foods, nutrients, and supplements that research genuinely supports, beyond the noise online.
Sperm quality and male fertility nutrition
Male factor accounts for roughly half of fertility challenges and is often overlooked. A dietitian's approach to sperm quality — specific nutrients, practical lifestyle changes, and what the evidence supports for men trying to conceive.
Recurrent miscarriage nutrition
Supportive nutrition alongside medical investigation — focused on what the evidence shows, including specific nutrients and inflammatory patterns.
Secondary infertility
Fertility challenges after a previous pregnancy carry their own quiet grief. Tailored nutritional support that acknowledges where you've already been.
Evidence-based supplement guidance
Folic acid, vitamin D, omega-3, CoQ10, inositol, and others — what the evidence actually supports, what the right dose looks like for you, and what to skip. No product sales, no affiliate links, no conflicts of interest.
How the fertility package works
Thorough assessment
Detailed review of your history, any investigations so far, current diet and lifestyle, supplements, and goals. A written plan within 48 hours.
Personalised plan
Built around your cycle, your treatment timeline (if applicable), your preferences, and your life. Not a generic fertility diet printed from the internet.
Ongoing support
Fortnightly or monthly follow-ups, timed around your cycle or treatment. Messaging support between sessions for the inevitable questions.
Fertility work is the work that brings me closest to why I retrained for this career. If you'd told me during our own IVF journey that my husband and I would eventually help other couples through the same road, I'm not sure I'd have believed you. But here I am, and here you are. If you'd like to talk, I'd be grateful for the conversation.
