Is Chocolate (milk) safe in pregnancy?
Safe with limits
Yes — in moderation, mindful of caffeine total.
What the evidence says
Milk chocolate is safe in pregnancy. A 50g bar contains around 10 mg of caffeine, which is low but counts toward the daily 200 mg limit. Enjoy in moderation as part of a balanced diet. Nothing in chocolate is specifically dangerous to pregnancy.
Why this matters
Caffeine content is low but not zero. Sugar content is the practical consideration for regular consumption.
